Extension Of Frequent Traveller Programme To Holders Of UK Passports And APEC Business Travel Cards
From 13 June 2019, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will extend the Frequent Traveller Programme (FTP) to eligible holders of UK passports and all holders of the APEC Business Travel Card1 (ABTC). This will enable them to use the automated immigration clearance facilities (also known as the enhanced immigration automated clearance system or eIACS) at Singapore’s checkpoints.
2. Eligible holders of Singapore passports were recently allowed to enjoy automated immigration clearance facilities in the UK. The mutual extension to allow citizens of both countries to enjoy automated immigration clearance facilities, as well as Singapore’s extension of these facilities to ABTC holders, will accord such travellers greater convenience.
3. UK nationals aged six and above who are holding a passport with more than six months’ validity, and have visited Singapore at least twice in the past two years, are eligible to apply for the FTP. All holders of the ABTC will be eligible to apply for the FTP.
4. Enrolment for the FTP is voluntary and free. Interested applicants can apply for the FTP at the enrolment centres located at Terminal 3 Changi Airport, the Visitor Services Centre at the ICA Building, as well as at Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints. For more information on the FTP, please visit ICA’s website at www.ica.gov.sg.
