Overview
Red and Green Channels
The Red and Green Channels facilitate travellers in clearing their baggage checks more quickly upon arrival at Singapore’s checkpoints.
If an ICA officer needs to examine your baggage, you will be required to open, unpack for examination, and repack it yourself upon completion of examination. This is to prevent any unintentional damage to your belongings.
Green Channel

Proceed to the Green Channel if you do not have any dutiable, controlled, or prohibited goods to declare. ICA officers may still conduct checks on your baggage, where necessary. If you are found with any undeclared dutiable, controlled, or prohibited goods, you may be liable to a fine or prosecution.
Visit the Singapore Customs website for more information on:

Red Channel

When you arrive at the checkpoint, declare any dutiable, controlled or prohibited items at the Red Channel. Present the items, along with your import licence or permit (where applicable), to an ICA officer for examination, and to obtain Customs clearance. Making a false or incorrect declaration is an offence.
If you do not have an import licence or permit, the ICA officer will retain the item and refer it to the relevant authority for further action.
If you are in doubt, proceed to the Red Channel to make enquiries.
