Overview

As a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) holder, you must notify ICA within 14 days of any changes to your passport details, residential address, personal particulars, and photograph. Refer to the table below for the required action based on your type of change:

  • Photograph (due to failed Singpass verification; do not use digitally enhanced photo)
    		Apply for a replacement digital LTVP in person.

If you have acquired a new nationality, you must submit a new LTVP application online.

Note

If you hold a pass issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), contact MOM to update your particulars.

Application Process

  1. Prepare required documents
  2. Update your changes online or apply in person for a replacement LTVP
  3. Make payment (if applicable)
  4. Check processing time
  5. Retrieve replacement LTVP

Documents Required

To update your passport details, you will need:

  • An image of your new passport biodata page

To update your residential address, you will need:

  • Tenancy agreement
  • Telecommunication/Internet bill
  • Utilities bill

To apply for a digital replacement LTVP to reflect your personal particulars/photograph changes, you will need:

  • Your old passport and new passport reflecting your new particulars
  • A recent passport-sized photograph taken within the last 3 months
  • A deed poll or documentary proof of change of name (original copy and photocopy), if applicable
  • A local medical certificate (MER) to update your registered sex, if applicable
Note

You will need to provide original documents and official translations (for documents in languages other than English), as well as copies of the documents for ICA to retain.

ICA accepts:

  • Translations provided by the embassy of the country/place that issued the document
  • Translations produced by a notary public in Singapore or the country/place that issued the document
  • Privately created translations attested by the embassy of the country/place that issued the document, or notarised by a notary public in Singapore or the country/place that issued the document

ICA does not endorse any private translation companies or entities. Insufficient documentation may result in non-acceptance of your application. You may be required to provide additional documents to support your application.

Procedure

Fees

 You must pay a S$60 non-refundable fee for a replacement LTVP.

Processing Time

ICA will process your updated passport details and residential address within 5 working days, provided you submit all required documents.

ICA will process your replacement LTVP the same day you visit.

Retrieval of Replacement LTVP

All replacement LTVPs are issued in digital form. After you complete the procedure at the ICA Services Centre, you will receive an email with instructions on how to retrieve your digital pass.
