Visa and Entry Information
If you hold a travel document issued by one of the countries or places listed below, you will need a valid
Singapore entry visa to travel to, and seek entry, into Singapore.
Things to Keep in Mind
- A visa does not guarantee entry. A Singapore entry visa is a pre-entry permission. It is not an immigration pass. ICA officers at the checkpoint will determine if you can enter Singapore. As a valid visa holder, you must adhere to all travel advisories and check the latest entry requirements] before you travel.
- The SG Arrival Card is not a visa. You must still submit your SG Arrival Card within 3 days before arriving in Singapore. Read more about the requirements for the SG Arrival Card with electronic health declaration before your trip.
- Visa validity and period of stay. The period of stay granted is not tied to the validity of your visa. Your period of stay is determined by the electronic visit pass (e-Pass) issued to you at the checkpoint.
- Visa applications. ICA does not accept submission of visa applications over the immigration counters.
If you do not have a Local Contact with a Singpass/Corppass account, you can apply either:- Through an authorised visa agent appointed by the Singapore Overseas Missions
- At the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission
Contact your nearest Singapore Overseas Mission for details on how to apply through them or their authorised visa agents.
- e-Pass. From 11 March 2022, all foreign visitors arriving in Singapore will be notified digitally of their Visit Pass (e-Pass) through email. There will not be any endorsement on your passport. The e-Pass notification will indicate your allowed period of stay and your last day in Singapore. You must provide a valid email address when submitting your SG Arrival Card.
- Short-Term Visit Pass Extension. To stay longer, you must apply to extend your Short-Term Visit Pass (STVP). Find out how to apply for an STVP extension.
