General Reporting Procedures
If you lose your passport in Singapore, you must immediately:
- Report the loss at any police station, neighbourhood police centre, or police post.
- Apply for a replacement travel document through your embassy, high commission, or consular office after making the police report. The Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs website lists addresses and contact details for accredited foreign missions.
Short-Term Visit Pass Holder
Departure from Singapore for Short-Term Visit Pass holders depends on the validity of your visit pass, which you can check at ICA's e-Pass Enquiry portal.
If your Visit Pass has not expired
You do not need to report to ICA. You can depart Singapore using:
- Your temporary or replacement travel document, along with a copy of your police report
- Your found travel document, after making a police report to update its status upon recovering it
If you are unable to secure a temporary or replacement travel document before your visit pass expires
