Overview
Once your Singapore permanent residence application receives In-Principle Approval (IPA), you must log in to the ICA e-Services to complete the required tasks. After you have completed all necessary formalities, ICA will officially grant your permanent residence status.
- IPA is not an immigration pass. It does not grant you a legal stay in Singapore. Overstaying is an offence. You must have a valid immigration pass to remain in Singapore while completing these formalities.

Once ICA has processed your submissions, you will receive a notification to pay the issuance fees online.
- S$20 for Entry Permit

You can pay online using any of the following:

Procedure
Complete All Required Tasks
When you receive the IPA, log in to the e-Service for Singpass holder and non-Singpass holder to complete the required tasks before the approval expires.
Before you proceed:
- Ensure all entries are accurate. Errors may affect the processing of your application and the issuance of your official documents.
- If you need to upload a photograph, ensure it meets ICA's photo specifications. Avoid using filters or heavy retouching as this can affect facial recognition. Please refer to ICA’s Photo Guidelines for more information on the requirements.
Pay Issuance Fees
Once ICA has processed your submissions, you will receive a notification to pay the issuance fees. Make your online payment by the deadline to avoid having your application withdrawn.
Complete Formalities
After you have successfully made your payment, you can download a letter indicating whether an in-person visit to the ICA Services Centre is required to complete your formalities.
- If an in-person visit is required: Your appointment date and time will be included in the letter. If you need to reschedule, you can do so via e-Appointment.
- If an in-person visit is not required: ICA will issue your LTVP upon successful payment.
You will receive a separate notification when your Identity Card is ready for collection.
