Collection Guidelines
ICA will notify you via SMS or email once your passport application is approved. Please make an appointment to collect your passport within 1 month of approval. Refer to the email for details on the documents to bring for collection.
You may collect your passport at:
- Participating SingPost outlets (if applicable)
- ICA Services Centre.
ICA will cancel uncollected passports after 3 months and the passport fee will not be refunded.
You must collect your passport in person. The only exception is for children below 6 years old, whose parents or guardians can make an appointment to collect the passports on their behalf.
You can continue to use your current passport while ICA processes your new passport application. Your existing passport remains valid until ICA issues your new passport. You may travel with your current passport during this period, provided it is not damaged and has more than 6 months of validity remaining.
