Overview
A Death Extract is an official copy of registered death details, issued when the original certificate is lost or damaged. ICA Registry of Births and Deaths only maintains records of deaths that occurred in Singapore, which were registered in Singapore since 1872.
- From 27 March 2023, ICA issues all death extracts in digital form.

Records of death which occurred overseas will not be available. For such records, please approach the relevant authorities in the country/place where the death occurred.
