ICA considers factors such as the individual's family ties to Singaporeans, economic contributions, qualifications, age, family profile, and length of residency, to assess the applicant's ability to contribute to Singapore, integrate into our society, and their commitment to sinking roots.
ICA has no affiliation with any external migration agency/commercial entity that claims to be a Singapore immigration specialist/consultant or partner. ICA does not support or endorse services by self-proclaimed professional immigration consultancy service providers for LTVP applications.
For intended Spouses of Singapore Citizens: To check your chances of getting an LTVP, take the free Pre-Marriage LTVP Assessment (PMLA) with your intended SC spouse before marriage. Couples who complete this assessment enjoy a shorter processing time of 6 weeks, instead of the usual 6 months.
Procedure
Whether you are applying for a new LTVP or renewing one, all applicants and sponsors must log in with Singpass. If you are ineligible for Singpass, use the unique login credentials provided by ICA. If you do not have a Singpass account, apply for one before starting your LTVP application.
With a Local Sponsor

If you did not receive any notification from ICA during the renewal application process, you may cancel your LTVP by submitting the Cancellation of LTVP form.
The sponsor should cancel the LTVP holder's LTVP by submitting the Cancellation of Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) form.
