What payment methods can I use for online applications?
You can pay using:
- Credit/Debit Card
- Visa/Mastercard (credit and debit cards)
- American Express (credit card only)
- PayNow
- Refer to ABS website for the full list of participating banks.
- A PayNow QR code will be generated from the e-Services with a unique reference code for each payment. ICA will only accept PayNow payment via this QR code. Do not make any payment via bank’s website using ICA's UEN. Your application will be unsuccessful if you do not pay using the QR code.
- Internet Direct Debit (DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB and Standard Chartered Bank Internet Banking accounts in Singapore)
ICA will process your application only upon successful payment. Please use only one payment method per application. If your payment fails on the first attempt, click cancel and retry instead of switching payment methods. If you encounter payment issues, contact the relevant e-Service at the feedback page. Please provide your application reference number, payment reference number, and supporting documents (e.g. screenshot of the error message).
How do I print my receipt?
Once payment is successful, a receipt will appear in a pop-up window. Use your web browser’s print function to print or save the receipt.
You cannot reprint the receipt once you close this window.
What payment methods can I use over the counter?
ICA accepts the following payment methods at our counters:
- Credit/Debit Card (Visa/Mastercard)
- NETS QR (DBS PayLah, OCBC Mobile and UOB TMRW)
- NETS FlashPay
- Digital Wallets (Apple Pay/Google Pay/Samsung Pay)
How do I request a refund?
You may contact the respective e-Services for refund request via the feedback page.
Please provide your application reference number, payment reference number, and the relevant supporting documents (e.g. screenshot of error message) in your email for ICA's verification.
How will I receive my refund?
If your refund request is approved, you will receive it through one of the following modes:
- Credit Card Refund - For payments made via Visa, MasterCard or American Express. The refund will be credited to the debit or credit card used for payment.
- PayNow Refund - The refund will be credited to the PayNow account linked to your NRIC or FIN. For the full list of participating banks, refer to ABS website.
- Interbank GIRO - You must complete Part II of the DCA form(PDF, 129KB). The Bank's endorsement (i.e. Part III of the DCA form) is required if:
(a) Your bank account is a joint or a trust bank account
(b) You are not a Singapore Citizen/Permanent Resident and your bank account is not with DBS, POSB, OCBC or UOB
(c) Your bank account was opened with a different ID.
