With effect from Thursday, 1 December 2016, Myanmar nationals will be exempted from visa requirements for up to 30 days’ stay in Singapore. This reciprocal arrangement was announced during Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s visit to Myanmar from 7 to 10 June 2016 and affirmed through an exchange of diplomatic notes between Singapore and Myanmar, witnessed by Prime Minister Lee and Myanmar State Counsellor and Foreign Affairs Minister Aung San Suu Kyi.
