From 2017, ICA will enrol iris images of customers during their transactions at the ICA Services Centre, such as the collection of passports. With multi-modal biometrics, ICA can enhance the accuracy of the identification process. The iris identifier will complement the fingerprint identifier, allowing travellers who have faded or scarred fingerprints to use our automated systems at the checkpoints.
The iris enrolment is a convenient, contactless and non-intrusive process. Please do not wear coloured, patterned or cosmetic contact lenses for faster enrolment.
