SGAC submission is free of charge. ICA does not support or endorse services offered by commercial entities assisting to submit the SG Arrival Card at a fee. They are not affiliated with ICA.


Who Needs to Submit

All travellers are required to submit the SG Arrival Card before arriving in Singapore, except:

  • Those transiting/transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance; and
  • Residents (Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents, Long-Term Pass holders*) travelling through Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints.

*Long-Term Pass holders include holders of Student’s Pass, Dependant’s Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass and Work Pass


When to Submit

You are required to submit the SGAC within three (3) days (including the day of arrival) before arrival in Singapore.* This is to avoid unnecessary delays during immigration clearance upon your arrival.

*For example, if you are arriving in Singapore on 30 Jun 2023, you can submit your declaration from 28 Jun 2023 onwards.

You will need to submit your SGAC before arriving in Singapore and present your travel document to the ICA officer at the immigration counter.

SG Arrival Card (SGAC)
Q1: What is SGAC?

A1: The SG Arrival Card is the electronic version of the paper disembarkation/embarkation (DE) card (or commonly known as the white card) that foreign visitors are required to submit upon arrival in Singapore for immigration clearance. From 27 March 2020, ICA will discontinue the use of paper DE card and all travellers will have to provide their arrival information via the SG Arrival Card e-Service or the MyICA Mobile app instead.

Q2: I am visiting Singapore for leisure travel/holiday; do I need to submit SG Arrival Card?

A2: All travellers are required to submit their SG Arrival Card before arriving in Singapore. This does not apply to those who are transiting or transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance; or Residents (Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents, Long-Term Pass holders*) entering via Land Checkpoints.

Q3: Can I submit the SG Arrival Card for multiple trips under “Group Submission”?

A3: The “Group Submission” is meant for a group of persons who are travelling to Singapore together for one trip.
Electronic Health Declaration
Q1: Where can I find/submit the health declaration?

A1: Your health declaration should be submitted together with the SGAC found in this e-Service or when submitted via the MyICA Mobile app.
Q2: Who should submit the electronic health declaration?

A2: All travellers entering Singapore, including Residents (Singapore citizens, Permanent Residents, Long-Term Pass holders*) and foreign visitors, should submit a health declaration as part of the SGAC submission. This does not apply to those who are transiting or transferring through Singapore without seeking immigration clearance; or Residents entering via Land Checkpoints.

Q3: Why is it necessary for all travellers, including Residents arriving via Air or Sea, to submit the Electronic Health Declaration before entering Singapore?

A3: The electronic health declaration is in place for purposes of disease control, specifically to guard against importing diseases of concern, to protect the health of Singapore residents. Those who make false declarations may be prosecuted under the Infectious Diseases Act.
Q4: How early can I submit the electronic health declaration?

A4: You can submit the electronic health declaration within three (3) days (including the day of your arrival) before your arrival in Singapore, to avoid unnecessary delays during immigration clearance. For example, if you are arriving in Singapore on 30 Jun 2023, you can submit your declaration from 28 Jun 2023 onwards.
Q5: What if there is a change in my health status and I have already submitted my health declaration earlier?

A5: You should resubmit your health declaration if there is any change in your health status. It is an offence to submit a false declaration. Those who make false declarations may be prosecuted under the Infectious Diseases Act.
