We will send a pre-printed application form to the parents of eligible registrants. We typically send the application form two weeks before the registrant’s 15th birthday, along with a notification letter. If the registrant's particulars have changed, parents must update them on the pre-printed form.
For School Registrations
Registrants who attend a government school or a government-aided school will be able to register for their IC on a designated registration day held at school.
For Non-School Registrations
Registrants who do not attend school, missed their school registration day or are studying at a private educational institute will need to register for their IC in person at the ICA Building.
The application form – together with a recent passport-sized photograph and the registration fee – should be submitted to:

Operating hours are 8.00 am to 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays, and 8.00 am to 12.30 pm on Saturdays.
Longer-than-average waiting times are to be expected on the following peak times:
- Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays
- School holidays
- The day before or after a public holiday.
