Completing the formalities

If your application is successful, ICA will issue you an In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter. Your Student’s Pass will only be issued if you meet all the conditions stipulated in this letter. You must then bring all the documents listed in your IPA letter to ICA Building at:

Visitor Services Centre ICA Building
10 Kallang Road, Level 4 (next to Lavender MRT station)
Singapore 208718

This final process is strictly by appointment. Visit e-Appointment to select an appropriate date and time. When you arrive for your appointment, proceed to Self-Service Ticketing Kiosk and take a ticket to join the queue.

You must be in Singapore on a valid immigration pass to collect your Student’s Pass. If you require a visa to enter Singapore for this purpose, the visa will be included in your In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter. You  may enter Singapore by producing the IPA letter at the immigration checkpoint, where you will be granted a Visit Pass.

Once you have arrived in Singapore, you will need to visit the Student’s Pass Unit on the 4th floor of ICA Building (details above), to complete the formalities and collect your Student’s Pass within the duration of your Visit Pass.

To complete the formalities and collect your Student’s Pass, you will need to provide original documents and/or photocopies as required.

Student’s Pass applicants aged 15 or older may be required to undergo a medical check-up. Your IPA letter will mention if it is required in your case.

Before collecting your Student’s Pass, you will need to acknowledge a copy of the Student’s Pass Terms and Conditions. Click here to download a copy.

Offsite Enrolment

Your school may arrange a time for you to pick up your Student’s Pass at an offsite location. In this case, the school will advise you of the date, time and venue for this offsite enrolment. Once you arrive in Singapore, you must report to this location as scheduled to collect your Student’s Pass.

If you have not been scheduled for any offsite enrolment, you must collect your Student’s Pass at ICA Building.

Fees

A S$60 issuance fee for Student’s Pass and a S$30 for Multiple Journey Visa (if applicable) are payable via Internet Banking, AMEX, a Visa or MasterCard credit/debit card online.
