Extension Of Frequent Traveller Programme To Eligible Holders Of Thai Passports

From 24 September 2018, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will extend the Frequent Traveller Programme (FTP) to eligible holders of Thai international passports. This will enable them to use the automated immigration clearance facilities (also known as the enhanced immigration automated clearance system or eIACS) at Singapore’s checkpoints.

2.         Currently, eligible holders of Singapore passports already enjoy similar automated immigration clearance facilities in Thailand. The mutual extension of such automated immigration clearance facilities will boost trade, business and tourism links between both countries.

3.         Holders of Thai passports aged six and above who are holding a passport with more than six months’ validity, and have visited Singapore at least twice in the past two years, are eligible to apply for the FTP. Enrolment is voluntary and free.

4.         Interested applicants can apply for the FTP at the enrolment centres located at Terminal 3 Changi Airport, Visitor Services Centre at the ICA Building, as well as at Woodlands and Tuas checkpoints. For more information on the FTP, please visit ICA’s website at www.ica.gov.sg.
