ICA has been contacted by members of the public who had received suspicious phone calls from a caller who claimed to be an ICA officer. They were then asked to transfer funds to the caller in order to regularise their stay in Singapore. ICA would like to clarify that such calls are not authentic. Police have since been informed. Making travel plans? With the holidays next week, ICA is expecting a large crowd at the Passports Unit from 20 May 2013 (Monday) to 27 May 2013 (Monday). Singapore citizens are encouraged to make an appointment via the ICA e-Appointment system before coming to collect your passports. If you are unable to reserve an appointment slot with us and there is no urgent need to travel, you are advised to collect your passport at a later date to avoid the crowd.
