A: The Optical Character Recognition (OCR) under the "Scan Passport" function will only capture the relevant information from the Machine-Readable Zone (MRZ) of the passport. The MyICA mobile app or personal mobile device will not store any images of the passport biodata page.

Q: Can a traveller approach ICA to view, delete or edit his/her profile information on another individual's MyICA mobile app?

A: A traveller can arrange with the individual(s) who had previously created a profile under his/her MyICA mobile app to edit or delete the profile information. ICA does not have access to any individual's MyICA mobile app to view, delete or edit a profile.
