Update on Case of Mr Goh Yew Hock (Ryan Goh)

The Controller of Immigration has carefully considered Mr Goh Yew Hock's representation and decided that it did not adequately show why Mr Goh's Entry/Re-Entry Permits should not be cancelled. The Controller of Immigration has thus cancelled Mr Goh's Entry/Re-Entry Permits and revoked his PR status.

2 Mr Goh has been informed of the decision on 20 March 2004.

3 Under Section 14(6) of the Immigration Act, Mr Goh may appeal to the Minister for Home Affairs through the Controller of Immigration. He has 7 days from 20 March 2004 to do so.

4 It would not be appropriate to comment further on the case at this time.
