Lifting Of Visa Requirement for Mexican National

The visa requirement for all Mexican nationals who wish to enter Singapore will be lifted with effect from 12 May 2009. This takes into consideration the revised medical assessment of the severity of the novel influenza A (H1N1) and the decreasing number of new cases emerging from Mexico. However, screening and quarantine measures for all individuals with a travel history to Mexico over the preceding 7 days at the checkpoints will remain.
