The latest mid-year statistics from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) showed that there are fewer immigration offenders arrested. In the first six months of this year, a total of 1,698 immigration offenders were arrested compared to 2,077 and 3,111 arrested in the same period in 2010 and 2009 respectively.
