Heavy Outbound Traffic At Woodlands And Tuas Checkpoints

        Travellers and motorists are advised that outbound traffic at both Woodlands and Tuas Checkpoints has been very heavy and slow moving since this morning. To manage the situation at our checkpoints, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) has deployed more manpower and opened additional lanes and counters during this peak period. ICA advises travellers and motorists using the two checkpoints to obtain updates on the traffic situation via the following channels:

a.    LTA’s Expressway Monitoring & Advisory System (EMAS) installed along the AYE and BKE respectively;

b.    Traffic information hotline at 6863-0117;

c.    Traffic updates via TrafficWatch on the radio;

d.    LTA’s One Motoring website (http://www.onemotoring.com.sg); and

e.    MyTransport.SG portal (MyTransport.SG).

2.     We seek the understanding and co-operation of travellers when using the checkpoints during this peak period.
