Singapore Immigration and Registration

Singapore Immigration (SI) and the National Registration Department (NRD) have come a long way, always responding professionally to challenges as demand increased. When the two departments merged on 1 April 1998 to form the Singapore Immigration & Registration (SIR), it used processes and procedures that were unheard of in those early years. The face of SIR has changed significantly since immigration and registration laws were first introduced.
