Home Affairs Services (ICA) Direct-Entry Inspector

HOME AFFAIRS SERVICES (ICA) DIRECT-ENTRY INSPECTOR

As a HAS (ICA) Direct-Entry Inspector, you are responsible for implementing and enforcing laws, regulations and ICA policies, as well as managing the operations of ICA’s various branches and commands.

Leading a team of highly skilled and well-trained ICA officers who are tasked with protecting Singapore’s gateways, you play a critical role in ensuring the nation’s security. You will be trained and developed to become a professional in border security, in-land enforcement and policy implementation.

HOME AFFAIRS SERVICES (ICA) DIRECT-ENTRY SERGEANT

As a HAS (ICA) Direct-Entry Sergeant, you are responsible for implementing and enforcing laws, regulations and ICA policies. Your duties and responsibilities, which demand qualities of leadership, initiative and integrity, include screening passports and passengers on arrival and departure, and participating in investigations and operations to detect smugglers and illegal immigrants.

Civilian Roles

CIVILIAN OFFICERS (ICA)

You will be working closely with other officers to provide customer service and operations support on immigration-related matters at one of the Services Centres at ICA Building or Changi Airport Terminals. Your duties include assisting customers with immigration-related matters, including their applications for passports, National Registration Identity Cards, Visit Passes, visas, citizenship and permanent residency.
