Citizenship

e-SC is an additional mode of application for Singapore citizenship. With e-SC, applicants will be able to submit their Singapore citizenship applications to ICA electronically via the internet anytime and anywhere at their convenience. e-SC allows electronic submission of Singapore Citizenship Application under the following schemes. They are :

· Singapore Citizen by Descent
- Children of age 1 year old and below born outside Singapore to Singapore Citizen parent(s).

· Economic Scheme
- Permanent residents applying based on their own merits, aged 21 and above.

· Family Ties Scheme
- Singapore citizens applying for their family members (sponsoring their wives/husbands/children) who are non-Singapore citizens.
