Response To Media Queries On Number Of Stay-Home Notices Issued (as of 3 March 2020)
From 18 February 2020, the Stay-Home Notice (SHN) was implemented as a precautionary measure to minimize the risk of additional imported cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019). Individuals served with SHN are required to remain in their place of residence at all times for a 14-day period.
As of 3 March 2020, 8am, 4,535 Stay-Home Notices (SHNs) have been issued to the following groups:
- Singapore residents (i.e. Singapore citizens and permanent residents) with travel history to mainland China (outside of Hubei), Daegu and Cheongdo in the last 14 days; and
- Long-term pass holders (i.e. Student’s Pass, Dependant’s Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass) and foreign employees issued with a work pass with travel history to mainland China (outside of Hubei), Daegu and Cheongdo in the last 14 days.
