Collection at ICA Building

 

Please collect your passport at the following address within 1 month from the date of collection notification from ICA:

Please note that passports not collected within 3 months of application will be cancelled and the passport fee will not be refunded.

    Collection on Weekdays (Mondays – Fridays, 8.00 am - 4.30 pm) 

    Applicants are strongly encouraged to make an appointment for the collection of passports via the e-Appointment system*. Please note that e-appointments have to be made at least 2 working days before the preferred date and time.

    Collection on Saturdays from 8.00 am - 12.30 pm.

    Please note that collection on Saturdays is strictly by appointment only. Appointments can be made via the e-Appointment system*

 

Collection at Alternate Sites

 

With effect from 15 October 2010, eligible Singapore Citizens who have successfully applied for Singapore Passports will have the option of collecting their passports from selected Singapore Post Limited (SingPost) outlets.

Eligible passport applicants will be informed through the passport collection notification card or by email if they apply for a passport through APPLES, the online passport application system. Those who wish to enjoy the service offered by SingPost can select the preferred venue for collection via the ICA e-Appointment system*.

Applicants who are eligible to collect their passports at SingPost will be able to see from the e-Appointment system, a list of SingPost outlets which offer the passport collection service.

The following groups of Singapore Citizens will not be eligible to collect their passport at SingPost: 

  • Singapore Citizens who have lost or damaged their current passports;
  • Singapore Citizens who do not have good quality fingerprints due to aging; or excessively wet/ dry thumbs and fingers; 
  • Singapore Citizens who do not already have two sets of fingerprints enrolled in ICA’s database; and 
  • Singapore Citizens below six-years-old.

Note: A biometric passport requires two fingerprints of an applicant to be enrolled and encoded in the chip at the time of passport production at ICA Building. As such, Singapore Citizens who do not have two sets of fingerprints with ICA are not eligible to collect their passports at selected post offices.

* The e-Appointment system is an online service that pre-allocates appointments for applicants. Waiting time has been shortened to an average of just 15 minutes for those collecting their passports during the allocated period.

 

Self-Service Collection at iCollect

 

With effect from 1 April 2013, suitable Singapore Citizens who have successfully applied for Singapore Passports have the option of collecting their passports from iCollect, a self-service machine housed at ICA’s eLobby.  

Suitable passport applicants will be informed of the additional collection mode through the passport collection notification cards.  Emails will also be sent if they apply for their passports through APPLES, the online passport application system and have provided their email addresses. Those who wish to enjoy the service can select the preferred collection mode via the ICA e-Appointment system*.
 

 Applicants who are suitable to collect their passports at iCollect will be able to see from the e-Appointment system, the option of self-service collection.

The following groups of Singapore Citizens will not be suitable to collect their passport at iCollect: 

·         Those who have lost or damaged their current passports;

·         Those who do not have good quality fingerprints due to aging; or excessively wet/dry thumbs and fingers; 

·         Those who do not already have two sets of fingerprints enrolled in ICA’s database;

·         Those below sixteen years old; and

·         Those who are applying a Singapore passport for the first time.
