Training Programme after Appointment

Successful applicants will undergo a 8-week training programme.


Job Deployment after Training

Upon appointment, you may initially be deployed to the Woodlands Checkpoint, Tuas Checkpoint, Singapore Cruise Centre or other checkpoints. Officers deployed at checkpoints are rostered to work in three shifts. They are also required to wear uniform while on duty.

Your duties and responsibilities include the screening of passports and passengers on arrival and departure, participation in operations on land or sea against smugglers, ship rummaging, contraband detection, investigations, conducting of raids and surprise checks on illegal immigrants.
